The Joop! Homme fragrance for men hit the scene just two years after its female predecessor and included heavy traces of what made the feminine version so appealing with a few masculine touches that really set the scent apart from its companion, and its competition. Starting this medley of aromas is the same top note of bergamot with the exclusion of neroli, which has been replaced by cinnamon. After these elements run their course, honeysuckle replaces rose and joins with orange blossom and jasmine to form the heart notes. At the base, Tonka bean and Vetiver add to the mix with Sandalwood, patchouli, amber, musk, and vanilla, for a pleasing finish.

Joop! Thrill for Men, Thrill for Women

A nice update to the Joop! Fragrances line, the Thrill for Men and Thrill for Women options are both refreshing changes of pace from the standard scents. Joop! Thrill for Men blends bergamot with frozen lavender and Granny Smith apple, and throws in a measure of woods, Sandalwood, vanilla and amber. The Joop! Thrill for Women is distinctively feminine, sharing only Sandalwood and vanilla with its male counterpart, and adding healthy doses of fresh dew, peach, lily, Mimosa, Iris, and Tonka bean, to complete the distinction.
